Book review:Desperate by Sarah Mae and Sally Clarkson

I loved this book so much.Sarah Mae makes the mom feel real and not like she has to be perfect...because God never asked that of her. Sally Clarkson gives depth to the book as she gives her insight from her years of mothering and ministry. So often as moms we feel alone. This book proves we are not alone! I felt like Sarah Mae was speaking from my own heart as I am a SAHM of four young children, and we homeschool. I highly recommend this book, to any moms I see. Even if you don't have young kids in your house anymore. A must read!!!!

Book review: God loves broken people by Sheila Walsh

I am a broken person which is not something I generally talk about on this blog. But it's true I am.

This book was amazing for me, I struggle everyday with my brokenness. This book gave me many scripture references of people in the bible who also struggled with their brokenness. I love that! I am not alone! Sheila talks about her own trials with brokenness. She talks about all of the WHY questions we all want to ask......
WHY is there suffering?
WHY is there death?
WHY is there pain?
Why do we need to be so broken.......?

In this wonderful book, we don't get the answers to these questions, but we do get comfort knowing we are not alone.

heaven is for real for kids by todd and Sonja burpo

Such a sweet book! written by a young boy with help from his Parents. My daughters ages 8 and 6 loved this book. They loved the illustrations and descriptions. It answered some of their questions they had about heaven. they really liked that colton got to meet his sister and his grandfather there. It was sweet. I would definetly reccomend this book to any parents with children, especially ones who have loved ones who have died.

Thank you very much bookSneeze for providing this book for review
