Homemade goodness

Julia and me made some homemade white bread,she really loved kneading the dough, didnt like waiting for it to rise but she loved eating it!

February Studies

February 2nd- groundhog day
we are doing a bunch of crafts and will be outside alot, these are some books we checked out from the library...
-Gregory's Shadow by Don Freeman
-Groundhog day by Gail Gibbons

Febuary 12th- Abraham Lincoln's birthday
This is the book I have on hold at the library for this.

February 14th- Valentines Day
YAY!!! I love this holiday, I'll probably take the girls out to lunch then to a movie or something nice. We have already been doing crafts for this. These are the books I have on hold for V-Day.

-Lily's Chocolate heart by Kevin Henkes
-Love, Splat by Rob Scotton
-Mouses first Valentine by Lauren Thompson

5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake
4 T flour
4 T sugar
2 T cocoa
1 egg
3 T milk
3 T oil
3 T chocolate chips
a splash of vanilla
Mix together in a small bowl. Spray a large mug with cooking spray. Put the batter in the mug. Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Allow to cool a little. Tip out of a plate. You can add whip cream of a drizzle of chocolate syrup. Get two spoons and eat!

We will be making masquerade masks with lots of feathers and having lots of fun!
